eLink is the integrated digital interface of the latest generation of hygiene locks. With this intelligent function, you can adjust the settings of the hygiene lock, report malfunctions, and schedule maintenance work. eLink operates via its own Wi-Fi connection and sets new standards in user-friendliness, control, and hygiene safety.
What is eLink?
eLink is integrated as standard in all our new hygiene locks. This functionality consists of an advanced interface combined with an intelligent circuit board (PCB) and its own Wi-Fi module. This allows you to easily log into the hygiene lock interface via a phone, tablet, or computer without external networks or an internet connection.
After logging in, you can adjust settings, monitor performance, conduct tests, and retrieve maintenance information. This function will be delivered as standard with every new Elpress hygiene lock from November 2025 and sets a new standard in hygiene management.
How does eLink work?
Thanks to eLink, each hygiene lock has its own web server as standard. This makes it easy to log into the eLink interface via a browser or app.
Within the interface, various user levels are available, each with its own functionalities. Some functionalities within eLink:
- Setting up a hygiene lock for initial use
- Running test programs
- Manual testing
- Adjusting the settings of the hygiene lock.
eLink continuously collects data such as the number of users, consumption of water and soap, and cleaning times per cycle. Via the interface, you can immediately see how intensively the hygiene lock is being used, whether everything is functioning correctly, and where optimization opportunities exist.
If eLink detects a malfunction or anomaly, a notification immediately appears on the interface—often with a clear cause. Consider a pump that is not building enough pressure or a sensor that is not activated. This makes maintenance faster, more targeted, and more efficient.

Integration with eCloud for Centralized Insight
When you connect eLink with eCloud, data such as usage statistics, error messages, and chemical consumption are stored centrally and automatically analyzed. You see the data in real time and can easily set notifications or alarms. This way, you receive an immediate signal when parts need to be replaced, even before they cause problems.
