Food safety is our driving force.

Those who take food safety seriously think in systems – not in isolated solutions. Just like nature at Lake Walchensee: not a single stone, but a mountain range.

PHT originated precisely there – in Upper Bavaria, at Lake Walchensee. Clear mountain water, pure nature, a perfectly functioning overall system. What we learned there still shapes our approach today: hygiene does not work as an isolated measure. It functions as a system where all parts interact.

Since 1998, we have been developing hygiene concepts and process solutions for food businesses that truly work in everyday operations – from planning and installation to ongoing service. Not individual systems, but the right overall concept for your business.

Foundation

PHT is founded in Bad Tölz. The cornerstone of the PHT Group: hygiene and process technology for the food industry.

2007
International

PHT begins its international expansion: PHT South Africa is founded.

2010
Growth

PHT Austria is founded to better serve customers from Austria and South Tyrol.

2012
Growth

A new location in Beckum is being opened. Shared brand, shared expertise.

Certification

PHT South Africa moves into its own building in Centurion and is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018.
