Centralised chemical supply: Efficiency meets safety
They are precise, flexible and efficient: pre-diluted cleaning chemicals that are distributed centrally via a satellite system. This avoids highly concentrated chemicals in the production areas of food processing. To protect employees. To protect the machines and systems. And to protect the food.
Why dilute cleaning agents?
Pre-diluted solutions are often used in the food industry to clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment and utensils. The advantage of pre-diluted solutions is that it ensures that the cleaning agent is used in the correct concentration. This prevents overdosing, which can lead to residues or surface damage. At the same time, underdosing, which can impair the effectiveness of the cleaning agent, is ruled out.
How does the centralised chemical supply work?
The cleaning system consists of a central mixing station, a distribution network of stainless steel pipes, decentralised cleaning satellites and large containers for chemicals. The cleaning agents are premixed and diluted in the mixing station and then pumped through stainless steel pipes to the satellites, where air is supplied to create foam. The chemicals are dosed directly into the tank. The tank is connected to a frequency-controlled pump that pumps the water/chemical mixture through pipework to the satellites.
Advantages of centralised chemical supply from PHT:
- Prevention of over- and underdosing
- Centralised control of the satellites
- No employee contact with chemicals
- Fast and resource-saving cleaning
- Minimal labour costs
Needs-based cleaning – without effort
This process has several advantages: There are no containers with chemicals in the production facilities. This means that neither production staff nor food come into contact with chemicals. At the same time, the chemicals at the satellite stations are centrally controlled. This means that each station receives the same centralised chemical dosage. In other words, different cleaning agents can be dosed across the board depending on requirements and application. The dosing is extremely precise. The entire production process receives exactly the cleaning concentration it needs. Over- or underdosing is a thing of the past – with minimal time and labour costs.
The central PHT mixing station is able to supply up to 25 cleaning satellites with its own pre-diluted solution of water and cleaning agents. The flow is guaranteed by low pressure. Our low-pressure system can deliver up to 27 bar. Low-pressure systems are much more efficient than high-pressure systems and therefore consume considerably less water overall. And with shorter cleaning times.
We would be happy to present the central mixing stations to you in a personal meeting. Let us advise you now.
